QuickStack

QuickStack ("we," "us," or "our") provides a personal comic collection management application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how billing information is handled, and your rights.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate, secure, and support the Service.

Account Information

We may collect:

• Email address
• Encrypted authentication credentials
• Account identifiers associated with your QuickStack account

User Content

We may collect the information you choose to add to the Service, including:

• Comic collection data, such as titles, issue numbers, notes, condition, estimated value, and related details
• Wishlist data
• Cover images you upload or capture
• Other information you voluntarily enter into the app

Billing and Subscription Information

If you purchase a paid feature, subscription, or other digital product through the app, payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing and, if applicable, our subscription management provider, RevenueCat.

We may receive and store limited billing-related information needed to manage your access to paid features, such as:

• Product or subscription identifier
• Purchase status
• Subscription status
• Purchase date
• Renewal, cancellation, expiration, refund, or grace-period status
• Google Play order ID or purchase token
• App user ID or account identifier used to associate the purchase with your QuickStack account

We do not collect or store your full credit card number, debit card number, bank account number, CVV, or Google Play payment credentials. Those payment details are processed by Google Play or the applicable payment provider.

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect limited technical information necessary for security, authentication, and service operation, including:

• Session data, such as login timestamps and authentication tokens
• Device and connection information, such as IP address and basic device or browser type
• Error, security, or diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the Service

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral tracking data for advertising or profiling purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Store and display your collection and wishlist
• Enable image upload and retrieval
• Authenticate users and maintain security
• Send password reset, account, or service-related emails
• Respond to support requests
• Process, verify, and manage purchases or subscriptions
• Provide or restore access to paid features
• Handle billing support, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and fraud-prevention needs
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform requirements

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or data resale.

3. Billing and Subscription Management

Purchases and subscriptions made through the Android app are processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play may collect and process payment information according to Google's own terms and privacy policies.

QuickStack may use RevenueCat or a similar subscription management provider to help verify purchases, manage subscription status, restore purchases, and determine whether your account has access to paid features.

If you cancel or delete your QuickStack account, this does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through your Google Play account or the Google Play subscription management tools.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider.

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Passwords are securely hashed
• Images are stored in private storage associated with your account
• Billing-related entitlement records are stored only as needed to operate paid features, support purchases, and meet legal or platform requirements

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Camera and Photo Access

The app may request access to your device camera solely to allow you to capture comic cover images.

• Photos are uploaded only when you choose to do so
• We do not access your photo library without your explicit action
• We do not use your images for any purpose outside of providing the Service

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share data only in the following cases:

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to host, process, secure, and operate the Service. These may include:

• Supabase, for authentication, database, storage, and backend infrastructure
• Google Play Billing, for Android purchases and subscriptions
• RevenueCat, if used, for subscription verification, entitlement management, and purchase status tracking
• Email service providers, for account-related emails such as password resets or support messages

These providers may process data on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to us.

Billing and Platform Requirements

We may share limited account or purchase-related information with billing providers or app platform providers to verify transactions, restore purchases, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, process refunds, or comply with platform requirements.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process.

7. International Data Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate.

By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

If you delete your account:

• Your collection, wishlist, and account data will be removed from active systems
• Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period before permanent deletion
• Certain billing, transaction, fraud-prevention, legal, tax, accounting, or platform-compliance records may be retained as required or permitted by law

Deleting your QuickStack account does not automatically cancel any active subscription managed through Google Play. You must cancel your subscription through Google Play if you no longer want to be billed.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data within the app
• Update your account information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Request support for billing or subscription-related account issues

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date accordingly.

Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
